Have respect and consideration for yours and our neighbours and for our wonderful property. The following table outlines the draft Park Rules. Failure to comply with the rules forfeits your right to rent your campsite or any other campsite for at least the following year.
Please Note: All campground renters who have a confirmed reservation by June 15, 2026 will be given an opportunity to provide feedback on these rules.

Rules |
Explanation |
|
Vehicles |
A maximum of two (2) vehicles is permitted for a campsite and both must be parked on the site. You must provide licence plate numbers for each vehicle authorized for your site at the time of final payment. No unauthorized all-terrain vehicles are permitted in the campground. |
|
Garbage and Recycling |
Secure all food garbage in the animal-proof containers provided at the Garbage Station. Keep all food on your campsite secured (in closed animal proof containers, in your vehicle or camping unit, or strung high in a tree) to discourage uninvited wildlife guests. Please recycle responsibly to reduce the load on the garbage containers and the local landfill. Your campsite must be kept free of litter at all times. |
|
Grey water disposal |
Any camper with a holding tank for grey water must dispose of the water in the septic dump station. A location will be marked on the site for those camping setups (tents, tent trailers without a tank) to dispose of grey water (e.g. dish water). |
|
Quiet Hours/ Noise |
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. |
|
Pets |
Our pet policy recognizes that many families would enjoy having their dog with them at camp. For the protection of wildlife and other park visitors, your pet must be under control and on a leash not exceeding 2 metres at all times. You must ensure your pet does not damage or interfere with vegetation or wildlife. You must also ensure your pet does not interfere with others’ enjoyment of the park. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and packing out all waste. Only 1 dog is permitted on a campsite with the exception of Sites #1 and #2 wider sites and farther from neighbours where you may bring 2 well-behaved dogs. Pets are only permitted in the water or on the beach in the southern-most part of the campground – by the canoe launch, the volleyball area and beyond. |
|
Protection of Vegetation |
No vegetation is to be disturbed on camp property. We are privileged to have milkweed growing naturally on Hoffman beach including the part in front of your campsite; this is a critical source of food for the monarch butterfly larvae. Please limit sun-bathing directly on the sand to the central beach of the campground, the water mats, and to Bancroft Beach. |
|
Campfires |
Moderate campfires are only permitted in designated places in the campground and only if there is not the most serious fire ban. Designated places include: the fire pit on your campsite, the shared fire pit by the Shelter, and the wood stove in the Shelter. Fires must be tended at all times and then extinguished with water. Firewood is provided – no outside firewood is permitted on-site due to the potential for insect infestation. |
|
Fireworks |
No fireworks are permitted on Camp Lutherlyn property; they are a fire hazard and disturb both wildlife and neighbours. |
|
Alcohol and legal recreational drugs |
Alcohol and legal recreational drugs are allowed, in moderation, subject to the following restrictions. They are to be kept on your campsite, secured when the renter isn’t present. All alcohol and legal recreational drugs containers & remnants are to be packed in and packed out – no garbage is to be left on premises; this is for the safety of children and wildlife. A Beer Store for returns is located at 8647 Hwy #60, Eganville; hours are 10-6 on Friday, your check-out day. |
|
Check-in and Check-out times |
Check-in time is after 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Check-out time is by 2:00 p.m.; there are no exceptions. Your campsite must be left in good condition with absolutely no litter. |
