Preparing for Camp

  • Be prepared for any type of weather: rain, sun, cold, hot!
  • Every article brought to camp should have a name in it
  • A bag or container can help with keeping toiletry items together
  • Pack clothing your child already is familiar with, well-worn clothing ensures comfort

Sleeping bag, pillow and pillow case

Brush/comb
Soap and face cloth
Shampoo
Two towels
Laundry bag
Books to read
Water bottle
Insect repellent
Sunscreen
Flashlight
Chapstick

Clothing

Waterproof jacket
Light jacket
Rubber boots
Running shoes
Pajamas
5-6 pairs of underwear
5-6 pairs of socks
1 pair of wool socks
2-3 pairs of pants
2-3 pairs of shorts
3-5 t-shirts
2-3 long-sleeve shirts
Warm sweater
Hat
Sandals

Medications (must be in original container)
Personal flotation device (life jacket)
Camera
Memento from home
Musical Instrument

What NOT to Pack:

Cell Phones, Smart Phones, iPads, iPods, MP3 Players, DS, PSP, Portable DVD Players, Electronic Games, Knives and Valuable items.

These items will be confiscated by staff and returned at the end of camp. Please double check your child's belongings.
